Testa My Patience has won the 2011 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley racecourse today October 22, 2011.
The five-year-old gelding won the race ahead of second place-getter Hawk’s Bay and third place-getter He’s Remarkable.
Testa My Patience was paying odds of $6 to win the 2011 Crystal Mile at Luxbet.
Trainer Mick Price was impressed with both the result and the ride from jockey Craig Newitt.
“He’s riding really well Craig,” Price said.
“I think he had developed some polish and maturity in his riding.”
Newitt felt Testa My Patience demonstrated his true ability in today’s Crystal Mile.
“He travelled very keen which is unlike him,” Newitt said.
“He surprised me.
“He showed that really good turn of foot that he’s got.
“It’s a good day especially to ride a winner.”
Testa My Patience will now head to the $1 million Emirates Stakes at Flemington racecourse on November 5, 2011.
