Lucky Hussler has returned to racing in typically slick form this time and remains clear $2.30 favourite in 2015 Crystal Mile betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au after posting a second Group 1 win a fortnight ago.

Capping an impressive 2014 campaign a close second to Hucklebuck in the Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m), Lucky Hussler returned this year with a scintillating performance for success in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m), but only managed mid-pack finishes in each of his next two starts.

Returning this time for fourth in the Group 2 Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m), the Husson gelding ran on for sixth in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) before returning to winning form in the Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) on Caulfield Guineas Day.

Confirmed to be partnered by regular hoop Glen Boss, Lucky Hussler will be very hard to beat in the Crystal Mile from barrier 3.

Turn Me Loose also carries winning form into his Moonee Valley appearance this weekend and remains outright second favourite for success at Crystal Mile odds of $5.

Returning this time for a credible sixth in the Group 1 Makfi Challenge Stakes (1400m) in his native New Zealand on August 20th, Turn Me Loose made a competitive transition to Australian racing when second behind Worthy Cause in the Listed Paris Lane Stakes (1400m) on October 4th.

Having taken out the Lister Seymour Cup (1600m) by close to four lengths on October 18th, Turn Me Loose could very well receive the run of the race from the rails draw on Saturday and will be partnered by leading Kiwi hoop Opie Bosson in the Crystal Mile.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at 2015 Crystal Mile odds of less-than $10, Bow Creek ($6) has been confirmed to be partnered by lead Godolphin rider James McDonald and will leave from barrier 4.

Confirmed to make his Australian racing debut in the Crystal Mile, Bow Creek has form around several notable horses this year and finished sixth behind leading Cox Plate fancy Arod in the Group 2 Summer Mile Stakes (1600m) most recently on July 11th.

2014 Crystal Mile champion Hooked ($17) and consistent miler Strawberry Boy ($19) offer great value for money, while Son Of John ($16) ran third in the Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) last time, has form around Winx and arguably offers punters the best value for money at current Crystal Mile odds.
